- Most texturing on high end systems these days are done with 3d paint
- systems. Expect Meshpaint to fill this market on the PC soon (I hope and
- pray!) - Essentialy, they allow you to paint directly onto the 3d object your
- surfacing. The more advanced ones (like alias's) let you paint on your bump,
- and specular maps as well. Some even let you paint hair growing particles
- onto your object, and then it will generate hair based on your strokes and
- the parameters assigned.
